'D' Jun 12 1901, complete strikes of Barry machine with "1901 Pan-American Exposition" involute flag cancel tying 8¢ and 10¢ Pan-American (298, 299) on double-weight cover to Germany, purple "Register No., Jun 12 1901, Station D, Buffalo, N.Y." three-line postmark, New York (6.13) transit backstamp and New York registry exchange label affixed, Lichtenthal (6.21) arrival backstamp, Extremely Fine.

This was part of the Maus correspondence to Germany comprising registered covers with different frankings of the Pan-American issue. This is one of only two recorded examples with a 8¢ and 10¢ franking.
