1900 (Feb. 3) Lexington Mass. to Pahala, Hawaii, cover bearing United States 5¢ blue (281) tied by partial "Lexington Mass Feb 3, 1900" cds to Mrs. Allen H. Howell, fumigation punch hole, reverse with numerous postmarks comprising: Boston (2.4), San Francisco (2.8), Wailuku (2.27), Mahukona (3.24, 3.27), Hilo (4.3) and Pahala.
Estimate    $200 - 300.

Bubonic plague swept through Honolulu and other parts of the Islands for several months and Honolulu was quarantined starting December 12, 1899 and finally ending April 30, 1900.
