1851 (Oct. 3) London, England to Lima, Peru via New York, blue folded cover carried transatlantic to New York where pencil "50" rating applied and red "25" cent handstamp credit rating struck, clear strike of red "Paid at Panama" crown circle (S.G. #CC5) and red crayon "1/" shilling rating, flap with "Panama, NO 23, 1851" double-arc datestamp, docketed as received Dec. 5th, Very Fine.
Estimate    $500 - 750.
