Australia, Postage Due, 1903, 10s emerald green, perf 11, watermarked Large Crown & NSW, purple oval date stamp, well centered with bright color, pressed out vertical crease (which are normally found on genuinely used early high value dues), Very Fine appearance, an extremely rare commercial usage. Scott No. J21.
SG No. D43    £1,800 for C.T.O. ($2,560).

The 1903 10s and 20s saw very little use and where used only in New South Wales. Genuinely used are considered to be worth a considerable premium as…"All stamps with NSW within three concentric ovals cancellations are believed to be cancelled to order."
