90¢ 1857 Issue George Washington Vignette on $20 & $100 Banknotes. Stock die used on two Rawdon, Wright, Hatch & Edson engraved banknotes comprising $20 The Union Bank and $100 Bank of West Tennessee, this die was apparently used as a model for the 90¢ stamp produced by Toppan, Carpenter & Co. in 1860; some wear and creasing, latter with two filing holes. Fine. Excellent collateral items.Estimate $150 - 200.
