Mexico, 1868, 12c black on green, Tampico, cons 39-69, tied by Tampico circular handstamp (Schatzkes 1581) on 1869 folded letter to Veracruz, in combination with G.B. 1865, 4d vermilion (Sc. 43) canceled by barred "C63" oval handstamp for maritime service to the port of Veracruz, with matching "Tampico, No 27, 1869" cds alongside; corners at top left and bottom right restored adding portion of company corner card handstamp, otherwise Very Fine, a rare mixed franking cover from Tampico British agency; with 2009 MEPSI certificate.
