Mexico, 1872, 100c gray lilac, Chiapas, left margin single, con 7-73, ample to large margins, tied by blue Comitan oval handstamp (Schatzkes 122) with additional strikes in corners, on registered front to Mexico via Guatemala to congressman Juan Avendano, matching boxed date stamp (Schatzkes 123) and numerous transits including Chiapa, San Cristobal, Zapalota (Guatemala border) and Tehuacan; some small internal holes in address panel, otherwise Very Fine, a wonderful usage bearing five different transit handstamps.
