1850 (Mar. 10) St. John, N.B. to Annapolis, N.S., datelined blue folded letter with red "Annapolis N.S. / Ship Letter" two-line handstamp, endorsed "by Capt Brown. March 13/50" at lower left to Annapolis N.S., matching red "Annapolis N.S., MA 10 1850" backstamp, manuscript "4½" pence cy. rating including 1½d cy. ship letter fee (valid from December 5th 1842), Extremely Fine and choice, ex-Clark, Rathbun; with 1992 Holcombe certificate.
