(Clackamas) Oswego, Oregon, Apr. 23rd, manuscript postmark (Whittlesey 1 but statehood use) on cover with 1861 3¢ rose cancelled by pen strokes and just tied by the postmark, to Lewiston Washington T'y. so likely an 1863 use since Lewiston did not have a Post Office until later in 1862 and Idaho Territory was created in 1863, a trifle reduced at right, light stains, F.-V.F. Estimate $150 - 200.
