1867, 3¢ rose, E. grill, five singles, affixed slightly overlapping and tied by bold strikes of blue fancy grid cancels, matching duplex strike with "Louisville Ky Mar 1" cds at bottom left on 1869 cover to Paris, France, red "New York 'Paid 12' Mar. 6" exchange credit cds, bold strike of red "Ligne H, Paq. Fr. No. 3, 6 Mars 69" embarkation cds ties two of the stamps, carried by CGT steamer Ville de Paris from New York Mar. 6th to Brest arriving Mar. 16th, Paris (3.17) arrival backstamp; reduced slightly at left, Very Fine and choice, ex- Walske; with 2016 P.F. certificate.
