Funderburk in account: 1865. To amount received for hire of negroes one month January paid in Confederate money 25.00; To hire for the remainder of the year 1865 - eleven months - Eliza hired to Melissa J. Funderburk wife of Jeremiah Funderburk $75.00 …", and ends with "South Carolina, Lancaster District} Before me George W. McNeely on oath said that the above is a just and true Return of Monies received and paid out by him since his last Return, as committee of Wm. B. Funderburke - that the Estate consisted principally of Slaves which have been emancipated leaving but a very small Estate in his hands., June 9, 1866", Very Fine.
