British Columbia & Vancouver Island, Barnard's Cariboo Express, Paid, black on orange express label, tied by blue "Paid" oval handstamp on orange buff cover with printed "Paid, Dietz & Nelson British Columbia & Victoria Express" frank and blue "Post Office, Victoria V.I." Coat of Arms oval handstamp postal frank, used as paste-up for cover addressed to P. Reilly, Gold Commissioner at Williams Creek, Caribou B.C. bearing British Columbia & Vancouver Island 1860, 2½d dull rose (3) horizontal pair, right with corner fault, tied by "Paid" oval that was also used to tie label, endorsed "By Express Paid" at bottom right, pencil "Rec'd Nov. 15th"; right stamp corner fault, label a bit oxidized, Very Fine.
