Mexico, 1864-66, Eagle Issue Balance, massive accumulation of 1,918 stamps representing 34 districts, the best being Matamoros (four 1r), Tepeji, Tula and Tulancingo, a smattering of stamps with sub-numbers are present, 65 are unoverprinted mint, but these include two each of ½r brown and 1r ultramarine. Overprinted stamps include 44 ½r, 184 4r and 59 8r, district Mexico accounts for just under 25% of the catalog value; some faults, most are Fine or better. Follansbee No. 17/46 $40,477.
