"Rollinsville, Col., Feb 2", manuscript postmark cancels 3¢ green entire to Denver Col., 1874 year docketing on reverse; a bit reduced at left and ink stain top left, otherwise Very Fine and scarce territorial postmark, ex-Bauer.
Estimate    $100 - 150.

Rollinsville was located in northern Gilpin county founded by prospectors from Central City area. Frederick Gooch was appointed the first postmaster opening the office on January 31, 1871.
