Australian States, 1842-1908 Due Cover Balance, of 24 covers and two cards; includes 8 early stampless showing various internal rates including 1847 Launceston to Cambelltown, Tasmania with manuscript "4" rating for ½ delivered beyond Hobart Town and Launceston, various stamped usages including 1894 Adelaide, S.A. to Cincinnati, O. official Post Office and Telegraph Dept. cover with Official 1891, 2½d on 4d deep green which no doubt was for return or more to pay letter, 1904 Brokenhill, N.S.W. "Officially Registered" handstamp cover to Hobart, Tas. with "T" and manuscript "4d" rating, 1894 Acknowledgment of Delivery form charge 2½d, early Victoria cover with half-length issues not belonging, 1904 unaccepted free frank of Empress Marie Caroline, etc., generally F.-V.F. or better.
