Nova Scotia, 1854 (Jun. 9) Halifax, N.S. to Baltinglass, Ireland, cover bearing Nova Scotia 1851, 3d dark blue (3) and 1s dull violet (7), both with four mostly large margins, reverse with "Halifax-Nova-Scotia, JU 9, 1854" origin cds and red manuscript "10" credit rating, carried by Cunard Line America to Liverpool, red "Pkt. Letter, Paid, Liverpool, JU 19, 1854" tombstone cancels stamps, reverse with red London (6.20) and blue Newbridge transit cds; light central fold, Very Fine, ex-Lichtenstein, Halifax, Mayer, Wilkinson; with 1970 R.P.S.L. certificate.
