Mexico, 1872 Hidalgo Issue Collection, three volumes in good order and annotated, with over 1,470 stamps and 26 covers, Scott will exceed $11,000 but this of course ignores district overprints, all districts represented though some of the rarest only by mint examples, many nice sub-office cancels, there are 236 6c (11 perforated), 62 50c and 43 100c (11 unused); occasional flaws, a strong start on an interesting issue, generally F.-V.F. Follansbee No. 87-96. Scott No. 93-104 Estimate $1,500 - 2,000.
