Clark who two days ago reached here, therefore I probably shall leave this for Pittsburgh on my way down the Rivers…Also inquiring was of the same person if he remembers driving the two Dun horses in a sleigh, employed & transporting the public petry & furs in the neighborhood of Niagara, when two bales where wholly missing and also was at another time a barrel of whiskey which of course article to warm the stomach of a driver employed in transporting its if I remember right from shipping 10 or 12 miles…", Very Fine and early inbound letter.Estimate $200 - 300.
