1869, 15¢ brown & blue, type II, two singles, tied by circular cork cancels and left by red "Boston 'Paid 24' Nov 26" credit exchange cds on cover with blind embossed "Kidder, Peabody & Co., Boston" corner card to Paris, France, red "Etats Unis, Paq. Fr., 27 Nov 69" octangular datestamps and matching small "PD" framed handstamp, carried by French Line Lafayette from New York Nov. 27th to Brest arriving Dec. 8th; reduced slightly at left, Extremely Fine and choice, ex-Warren H. Colson (handstamp), Walske; with 1977 P.F. certificate.

The PRA census lists only five covers bearing two 15¢ Type II stamps on cover to France. This cover was prepaid at two-times the 15¢ treaty rate, with two-times the 12¢ credit to France for French Mail service.
