Despatch, 1850-52, 1¢ gold on black, clear to ample margins, tied by two strikes of red star handstamp on 1851 folded letter to New York, in combination with 1852, 3¢ experimental orange brown (plate 1L) tied by blue "Philadelphia, Pa., Dec 27" cds; 3¢ stamp slightly oxidized with vertical file fold affecting, Very Fine appearance; with 2012 P.F. certificate.
