1851, 12¢ gray black, two pairs, right with four full to large margins, left slightly in, each tied by strikes of "Richmond Va., Jul 5, 1856" cds on 1856 buff cover to Bristol, England, New York red "38" cent handstamp credit to G.B., carried as endorsed by Cunard Line Asia from New York Jul. 9th to Liverpool arriving Jul. 21st, red "America, Liverpool, Paid, 21 JY 56" exchange cds and Bristol (7.22) arrival backstamp; couple abrasion spots top left, Very Fine and scarce use of two 12¢ pairs for double the 24¢ treaty rate.
