Great Britain, 1902 Hand Illustrated & Colored Cover, skillfully executed allover watercolor design by artist George Henry Edwards to his brother, showing Old Soldier with Waving Standard, on cover franked with 1d red brown tied by "London, Oc 27, 02" cds; small piece of backflap missing, still Extremely Fine, a magnificent illustration and cover.

George Henry Edwards (1854-1918) exhibited his art at the Royal Academy and the Royal Institute. Of the 45 covers believed to exist from this artist, this is considered to be one of his finest watercolors.
