Poland, - German Area Poland Cover Collection, 1792-1918, of over 500 items neatly arranged by date and written up on pages in four binders, mostly covers but also includes postal stationary used and mint, souvenir cards and other ephemera; starting with section of Prussia including early stampless, Scott #3 on covers and a selection of postal entires used, N.G.C. including */o stationery, similar Empire and Reich issues, substantial General Gouvernement issues on cover with set combinations and Provisional cancels, etc.; a nice group for the specialist.

Poland, - Austria Area Poland Cover Collection, 1818-1918, of over 350 items neatly arranged by date and written up on pages two binders, mostly covers but also includes postal stationary used and mint; starting with early stampless section (Galicia) including 1837 Krosno straight line with scarce inverted "N", Scott #P1c on 1856 newspaper, stamp period mostly stationery issues and a few covers, section of WWI including stamped & stampless military censor covers and cards, some registered, Austro-Hugarian Military Post usages, some Bosnia, etc.

Poland, - Russian Poland Cover Collection, 1830-1913, of 260+ items neatly arranged by date and written up on pages in two binders, mostly covers but also includes postal stationary used and mint; starting with some early stampless followed by a 1848 3k entire Bobrusysk to Warszawa, stamped usages starting with a nice Russia 1858 10k (Scott 8) Riga to Warszawa and a three color franking (19, 20 & 22) to Austria via St. Petersburg - Warszawa Railway, postal stationary with a nice showing of entires, postal cards including formular, with some better items, other franked items including three color franking (47-49) Lodz to New York and another 3-color franking (42, 47 & 50) commercial registered franking Lodz to Germany, nice showing of later usages including an interesting Aborn-Mabyschuk-de Solonina viewcard exchange correspondence, etc.

Poland, Tsarist (Russian) Empire Collection, 1855-1945, Poland #1 and Russian Issues neatly arranged and identified in stockbook; starting with eight used Poland #1 singles in shades with various cancels including 14 dotted railroad, 1 (Warszawa), 106 (Tarnogrod), 138 (Radom), 180 (Gorzowice), 191 (Kalisz), 235 (Leczyca), 247 (Lipno) and 311 (Aleksandrow), Russian issues with both mint with some good early issues and Poland used with an array of cancellations, starting with mint Scott #8 & #13 with good later issues, cancellation including railroad, various Warszawa types and other small towns, multiples and on piece items, also back-of-the-book issues, South & White Russia, etc.

Poland, Collection, 1918-61, specialized assembly of issues neatly arranged and identified on stockpages in six stockbooks and binder; starting with the 1919 Warsaw issues */o with additional overprint varieties including 10f inverted overprint and other minor varieties, similar 1919 Provisional issues with a host of overprint varieties including inverted overprints on the top two values, some multiples, etc., first Lublin issue with additional mint inverted overprint set (& fake set for comparison), later issues with additional inverts and some other varieties, Cracow issues highlighted by the 3h value (Scott 41, signed by many) as well as other signed better including 3k & 4k high values, with additional dues, newspapers complete mint with duplication, etc., section of competition essays for designs of the first regular issues followed by a study of the 1919 first regular issues including shades, cancellations, multiples, proofs, perf and plate varieties, P.K.L. Emergency issue including fakes, private perfs and a study of plate varieties, good 1919 Levant overprint issue with additional reprint set, later issues in similar fashion with a host of material for each issue, some good varieties, better souvenir sheets present many with parallel */o, some souvenir folders, revenues and Cinderella material, nice study of the Porto/"T" handstamp overprints, etc.; nice material throughout and an excellent foundation for further continuation.

Poland, Postal History Collection, 1918-60, of 1,150 items neatly arranged by date and written up on pages in four large and ten small binders, mostly covers but also includes money orders and postal cards used and mint; starting with 1918 Warsaw issue complete on Sosnowice registered cover, 1918 German Occupation overprint issue usages including registered with straight line Zawiercie provisional postmark, nice showing of early postal cards including uprated with an array of towns and destinations, 1919 American Relief Admin. Mission card usages, some philatelically inspired covers including bisect, section of "Porto" overprint usages including money orders, philatelic set covers and official registered, other later usages including censored, balloon post, Aero-Tag express mail, official registered, 1922-24 inflationary usages, due usages, advertising and official imprint covers, railroad, airmail and FDC's, etc.; a nice collection for the Poland specialist.

Camp Post Collection, 1942-45, approximately 470 items neatly arranged and identified on pages in two binders; starting with Woldenberg issues with a nice showing of 1942 issues including various 1942 Widow Easter issues */o, Soldiers postcard issue */o, Battle of Zielence souvenir sheet, due issues, Madonna set & post cards */o, with later stamp and postcards with occasional defaced proof, 1943 Insurrection souvenir sheet */o, 1943-44 Portrait issues, 1944 Camp Olympics issues including used on piece, section of essays, camp script, fair showing of Neubrandenberg & Murnau issues including some fakes noted, Gross Born issues highlighted by the 1944 Camp Olympics souvenir sheet with the three August 14th cancellations, also the 1944 Philatelic Exhibition Day of the Sea Issue souvenir sheet with Exposition cancel etc.; an excellent foundation for further expansion.

Romania, Collection, 1862-1949, housed in Scott album; starting with a few later Coat of Arms issues followed by a nice selection of 1865-70's Prince issues mixed mint & used, strong in later following King issues, 1903 Mail Coach issue complete mint and mostly complete in 20th century issues predominately mint, semi-postals strong including souvenir sheets present, occupationals with some good sets including dues, offices, etc.; worth review.
