Great Britain, 1887, Queen Victoria Jubilee, 2d green & scarlet, vertical strip of 3, each stamp neatly canceled by a London chief office type barred oval "3" in diamond Trial Cancellation, strong colors, Very Fine, a scarce multiple, the true purpose of these cancellations are unknown but it is thought they were to test the cancelling ink on the doubly fugitive green ink, ex-Rowse & Aureum.
