Oscar F. Townsend was the Wells Fargo Agent at Yuma, Yuma County 1888-1892 and Postmaster.

Vance" Wells Fargo agent straightline on 2¢ Columbian (U349) entire with blue printed 1892 Wells Fargo Columbian frank to Los Angeles Cal., endorsed "Important! Please Deliver at Once" at bottom left, purple "Wells, Fargo & Co's Ex., Los Angeles, Cal. Feb 24, 1894" cds arrival backstamp; reduced slightly at right, some edge wear, Very Fine.
Estimate    $150 - 200.

James J. Vance was the Wells Fargo agent at Aztec in 1894. Aztec was a station on the Southern Pacific Railroad 80 miles east of Yuma. Cover was given by agent Vance to the Wells Fargo Messenger on the railroad.

Holbrook, Merrill & Stetson" company receiving handstamps, Very Fine and attractive.

Wright / Jun 17 1894 / Benson to Guaymas" three-line handstamp; 1894 and 1895 Hermosillo entires to New York via Nogales, Ariz. oval; 1888 10¢ unaddressed paste-up entire with Nogales A.T. oval, etc.

Mac. Comber as Constable of Williams due to not qualifying in time; some repair label and cover flaws, F.-V.F.
