1852, 1¢ blue, type IV, tied by grid handstamp on cover to St. Paul, Minn. paying the carrier in Philadelphia, in combination with 1851, 3¢ dull red (11A) tied by "Philadelphia, Pa., Jun 13" cds, 1857 docketing at left; 3¢ stamp with small corner nick at top left, Very Fine, in 1856, the supply of 1¢ eagle carrier stamps was exhausted in Philadelphia and the regular 1¢ was used thereafter, ex-Johnstone; with 2003 P.F. certificate.

Jan 12" integral-rate cds on unsealed cover to Nunda N.Y., endorsed "Circ" for circular at top left; some minor edge staining, otherwise Very Fine and scarce recut variety, ex-Wagshal, Celler.
