Wells, Fargo & Co's Express, From "Shasta", black on yellow illustrated label with trains and manuscript town designation on light buff paste-up cover to Lexington Washington Terr., bold strike of blue "COLLECT 50^CTS" oval handstamp, forwarded to Florence W.T., Lewiston and apparently returned to Shasta Cal., reverse with unaddressed 3¢ pink (U34) entire cancelled by blue "Wells, Fargo & Co., Shasta, Jul 20" oval datestamp, printed black Wells Fargo paid frank; minor edge flaws and wear, Very Fine and rare label use.

Wells, Fargo & Co's Express, Truckee, black on orange label, affixed on legal-size yellow cover to Nevada City, Cal., reverse with paste-up of two Wells Fargo Truckee advertising envelopes for Elle Ellen lumber dealer; reduced slightly at left, small edge tears, Very Fine.
Estimate    $300 - 400.

The paste-up envelopes pay double the 3¢ government letter postage, carried by Wells Fargo by stage to Nevada City Cal.
