Advertising & Illustrated Cover Balance, of 15 covers written-up on pages; ads including 1850's "Southern Ohio Lunatic Asylum, Dayton" (Ohio) came corner card, couple Phrenology illustrated Human Head design, 1907 multicolored Flexible Flyer illustrated ad, etc., section of illustrated propaganda covers include National Temperance Relief Union, "Nation Shall Not Lift Up Sword Against Nation" use from Shakers Village, N.H., 1850's Temperance Maine Liquor Law design stampless use, also a scarce 1848 Western Hotel, New York red oval handstamp.

Advertising and Expo Covers - 1890s Bureau Issue, group of 30 covers and cards including multicolor 1901 Pan-Am Expo covers (2), 1900 Philadelphia National Export Expo (2), 1903 St. Louis Worlds Fair ad; 1897 Los Angeles La Fiesta de Les Angels cover; 1898 Fort Wayne Ind. Carnival and Street Fair, 1896 Grand Rapids Carnival of Fun all-over designs; couple private mailing cards, 1897 Lynn Mass. Merchants Carnival all-over design; a nice lot with many attractive designs.

Advertising Covers by Topic Collection, 1850s-1900s, approximately 600 covers arranged by topic, including (but not limited to): agriculture, animals, automobiles, beer, bicycles, boats, cattle, chickens, Christmas, coffee, food, horses, maps, music, oil, printing, railroads, and shoes, ranging from about the 1850s (with some cameos) but most heavily focused on the late 19th century and very little past about 1940, some with original enclosures, mixed condition but expect many fine or better covers, the result of decades of collecting.

(Advertising) New York Buildings Advertising Covers, a wonderful array of over 300 19th century covers arranged in six cover stockbooks, virtually all different designs from the 1850's to the 1890's, mostly black illustrations with a nice array of colored design including bronze, many allover shaded ads including the the New York Herald in blue and green (similar but different designs), some matching designs in different color printing and cover color, nice New York Herald to Germany franked with 4¢ + 1¢ Trans-Miss issues, early 1850's cameo designs, dual illustration design, few better items-color illustrations, Boyd's stampless local usage, #63+65 stamp use, etc.; a nice basis for continuation.
Estimate    $1,500 - 2,000.
