British Africa, Collection, substantial mint and used collection on Scott album pages in two albums, with strength in used early material with some pleasant duplication including postmark study, perf and shade varieties, etc. to some good to better early mint, similar variety and later sets; starting with Ascension 1922 first issue complete mint and second complete mint and used, section of the 1938-53 KEVII Views with varieties mostly mint, etc., near complete Basutoland, Bechuanaland with 1889 Protectorate surcharge varieties and good later mint, B.C.A. with some better first issues used and 1895 shilling values */o with latter better, Cape of Good Hope with a few triangles and better mint Hope issues with a strong showing of additional used, E.A. & Uganda including scarce 1912 10r value used, strong Egypt mostly used with good back-of-the-book, nice Gambia with study of the early QV perf'd issues and later mint with better, Gold Coast strong in mint issues and an additional early QV town postmark study and later issues, K.U.T. with a nice showing of early used and later mint, good Lagos mostly used, Mauritius from Britannia */o on with strong used QV's including postmark section with Mauritius used on Seychelles, completion in later, Natal from #1 on with good completion, 1895 surcharge variety study mint, etc., good Nigeria, Orange River Colony approaching completion, good Rhodesia mostly used with some good mint, double heads and admirals with shade and other varieties, nice St. Helena and Seychelles with better, similar Sierra Leone and Southern Rhodesia, etc.; a nice array of issues with much variety throughout, well worth careful inspection.
