Mexico, 1856, First Issue, 1r yellow, Mexico, on folded letter sheet to Linares, tied by dotted rhomboid handstamp (Schatzkes 826); minor toning and stamp with vertical crease, F.-V.F., this rhomboid which was the first cancel ever used in Mexico, probably from the first weeks of the issue.

Mexico, 1856, First Issue, 4r red, three quarters used as 3r, Morelia, tied by two strikes of 1858 Morelia town cancel (Schatzkes 901) on piece, Very Fine, only one cover and four on piece usages are recorded, this is the only piece with this cut and has not been individually in auction for at least 30 years (from last sale of the known cover in 1990's); with 1999 M.E.P.S.I. certificate.
