Lot 595Mexico, Porte de Mar, 1875, 25c-100c black, 25c-50c vertical and 60c-100c horizontal pairs in composite block of 14, o.g., 100c value with thins, otherwise Very Fine.
Scott No. JX13 Estimate $750 - 1,000.
The first printing in composite sheets provided all major post offices with an initial supply within a short time. The calculated ratio of denominations proved to be unrealistic, so afterwards complete sheets of each denomination were issued, which are easier to find.
