Documentary, 1872, Third Issue, 1¢ claret & black, block of 25, canceled by pen and light Sep. 5th 1872 datestamp on small piece of document from Pennsylvania Rail Road, most stamps in right two vertical rows also tied by herringbone cancel, bottom left stamp scuff at bottom, otherwise remarkably free of defects for such a large multiple, Very Fine, the large recorded multiple, ex-Halstead, Curtis.
