Rodgers in famous Vin Fiz Flyer, en route from New York to California, for Hearst $50,000 ocean to ocean flight" text, sent to Centralia Mo. franked with 1910, 2¢ carmine tied by "East St. Louis, Ill., Oct 11-11" machine postmark, with message in part…get yourself ready and come on. This man passes through your town today; some light staining, F.-V.F. AAMC No. 2d.
