1979, 15¢ John Paul Jones, perf 12, wavy line machine cancel, Very Fine, a very rare modern issue perforation variety; with 1985 P.F. certificate.

The Fifteen Cent John Paul Jones commemorative was issued in 1979, printed by the J.W. Fergusson & Sons Co., and first perforated 12 x 12 by the American Bank Note Company, however the horizontal pins broke only after one day's use and were replaced by perf. 11 pins. The perf 12 all around is by far the rarest with less than 20 used singles are known.
