Sonora, California, Nov, 25 1851 (Tuolumne), blue two-line postmark (Williams TUO-1340) with blue manuscript "10" rating on 1851 blue folded letter to Baltimore Md., letter with interesting contents that mentions water shortage to wash gold dust due to drought, Democratic Presidential convention and Sam Houston; small edge tear, Very Fine, the second earliest recorded example.
