Despatch, 1857 (2¢) blue, margins ample to large showing framelines on three sides, used in conjunction with 3¢ dull red (26), creased and small perf flaws, tied together by blue "Louisville Ky., Apr 13, 1859" cds on buff cover to Pleasant Hill Ky.; light cover wear and and restored at upper right, Very Fine appearance.

U.S.P.O. Despatch, Pre-Paid One Cent, double-oval handstamp ties 1¢ blue, type IV (23) on yellow cover with embossed St. Lawrence Hotel corner card to local street address; cover with light horizontal file fold near bottom, Very Fine and choice use, a rare usage of the 1857, 1¢ blue, type IV.

Despatch, 1849-50, 1¢ black on blue, slight glazed loss and small creases, tied by blue "Philada, Pa., 5cts, Sep 14" integral-rate cds on 1850 printed Baptist Church notice to Millville N.J.; cover tears at top and bottom and slight soiling, Fine, a very scarce on cover usage, with only 16 on cover usages reported, of which only three are tied; with 2009 P.F. certificate.
