Postal Card, 1885, 1¢ Jefferson Issue Balance, of approximately 180 cards; includes 10 trial color items, study of shades mostly mint from chocolate to red orange, four uprated foreign destinations usages to Europe, a nice section of fancy postmarks and cancels including the possible Bennington, Vt. "Provisional" precancel, nice section of printed advertising cards including unused with red border on face and matching border on reverse in brown with corner card, the multicolored Sherwin-Williams Co. chameleon card, etc.

Fancy Cancels on 1873 1¢ Postal Cards, group of 54 cards with a nice array of markings; includes Arrow of Adams Center, N.Y. in blue, Indian Head of Upper Sandusky, O., Pumpkin Faces from Peoria, Ill. and Oswego, N.Y., Negative Top Hat of Danbury, Ct., Negative Anchors from New York, N.Y. and Bay City, Mich., Apple of Pittsfield, Mass., various Shields from Columbus, Ind. and St. Louis, Mo. (4 different), "OK" of Americus, Ga., negative "OK" of Beloit, Wis., negative Pointing Hand of Pittsburgh, Pa. in blue, and numerous other geometrics with Stars including NYFM, Crosses, Radials, Square & Compass, etc., nearly all Very Fine or better strikes.
