Negative Letter Cancellation Collection, of approximately 700 domestic usage covers and postal cards in sleeves; showing the array of lettered duplexes A-Z mostly used in the late 1870's, nice showing of various cancellation types, some commercial corner card covers including a few illustrated; a nice study of these fancy duplex killers.

Negative Letter Cancellation Collection, of approximately 600 covers and postal cards in sleeves; showing the array of numerals 1-22 mostly used in the late 1870's and early 1880's, nice showing of various numeral types, some commercial corner card covers, a few foreign usages with destinations including Austria, Denmark, England, Germany, Italy & Turkey; a nice study of these fancy duplex killers.

Fancy Cancellation Covers, 1920-30's, group of 13 covers; illustrated postmarks include 1932 "Buffalo" and "Heart" of Buffalo Hart, Ill., 1930 "Sailboats" of Boat, Ky., 1932 "Antelopes" of Antelope, Mont., 1934 "Fisherman" of Fishertown, Pa., 1929 "Cows" of Madison, Wis., and seven different 1920's Pacolet Mills, S.C. fancy cancels including negative torch, Morton's Salt girl, "Merry Xmas" Bell and other fancy designs (includes photocopy of article regarding these Pacolet Mills fancies).

Fancy Cancels on 3¢ Bank Notes Covers, an interesting lot of 36 covers with 3¢ Bank Notes with various fancy cancels of the period, most all well struck and distinctive, includes Numerals, Letters, Stars, etc., mixed condition, a nice lot for the specialist.

Fancy Cancels on Postal Cards Collection, 1870-80's, approximately 350 cards on pages, cards from UX1//UX12; nice array of cancels hand-picked for strong full strikes, includes section of geometrics including Chicago blues, star cancels, eight different "US" including "US 76" of Oscelola Mills, Pa., multiple letters including "OK" and an array of single letter cancels, pinwheel and wheel of fortune, rosettes including Waterbury, Ct., crosses, etc.; nice strikes throughout, a nice foundation for continuation.

Geometric Cancellations on Cover Study, nearly 380 covers bearing 1861 3¢ rose franking and canceled by various non Skinner-Eno numbered cancellations; includes a nice section of Stars including in circle, segmented, negative and positive strikes, five point and six point "Star of David", etc., section of Targets from simple 3-ring to multi-ring cancels, Circle-of-Wedges or Circle-of-V's with a nice range, Rosettes and other fancy and unusual Geometrics including crosses, fancy crossroads, segmented, etc., also includes a small section of letters, "Paid"s and some numerals; many unusual types & blue color cancels throughout, a nice group for the cancellation specialist.

"Missent" Cover Collection, extensive holding of over 500 mostly 20th century covers and cards in slips; mostly arranged by state with strength in California towns with various type handstamp for some towns, includes Alcatraz, 19th century including Stockton, Coulterville, Danville, Carvanza, 1860's Georgetown (to Colorado Terr.), Gilroy, Irvington (serrated oval), 1860's Onion Valley, 1860's San Francisco "Missent" and "Missent to San Francisco" marks, etc., many other states with a wide range of markings including fancy, some interesting foreign incoming usages, etc.; a very unusual auxiliary marking collection.

"O.K.", Battleboro, Vt. "B" on 3¢ Pictorial, ca. 1880's Bucksports, Me. "P" in clover, 1875 Methuen, Mass. "eu" on card, 1860's Norwalk, Ct. "X", 1870's Waverly, N.Y. "75" and "E/C", 1899 Wilmington, Mass. "W" socked-on-the-nose strike on 2¢ Trans-Miss, etc., also includes a collection of Portland, Me. letter & numeral duplex cancel and a collection of New York numerals.
