5¢ Beacon Airmail Issue Cover Collection, extensive collection of approximately 3,000 covers mostly housed in 33 White Ace cover binders; with the vast array of first flights, dedications, aviation shows, exposition, postmaster signed, etc.; numerous highlights including dual U.S.-Canada mix franking flights including registered, uprated South American flights, 1929 Brownsville, Tex.-Mexico City "lost mail" unlisted variety, unusual German-U.S. franked German Seapost usage, Max Golding faux stamp "Happy New Year" cachet, nice run of over 40 FDC's including some blocks of four usages, 1929 Graf Zeppelin with three #C11 & German 4m Zeppelin combination, other Zeppelin including many First Round The World covers and cards, Lakehurst flights, etc., 1929 C11-France mixed franking on incoming express cover, C.Z. mix franking, at least six good crash covers, 1928 "Ille de France" catapult cover as printed matter supplementary mail, Macon & Akron flight covers, Lindbergh flown covers, first and last day rate covers, etc., also includes some mint material including plate blocks, some photocopy literature, etc.; a truly wonderful specialized collection and an ideal foundation for continuation.

A Superior Lindbergh Cover Collection, 1927-1929, Lindberghiana, collection on pages, with a lovely clipped signature "With Best Wishes Charles A. Lindbergh" (Steve Hansen certificate), 1927 Post Office department Contract Air Mail Service from Springfield, Ill. January 29, 1927 (name of pilot: Lindbergh), plus 68 covers or cards, many flown by Lindbergh 1926-1928, some better cachets (Worden, Gorham), also picture postcards (Lindbergh and his mother, "The Spirit of St. Louis", etc.), West Indian Aerial Express Mail (Dominican Republic, Haiti, Cuba) covers, Panama, with inverted overprint, also British Guiana, Trinidad, Surinam plus others, Fine - Very Fine, interesting and valuable collection.

Akron & Macon Zeppelin Covers, group of approximately 75 cover mostly cacheted for the various flights, includes 1935 Macon Lost at Sea memorial, 1934 Tacoma Welcomes the Macon signed cover, Akron crash cachet covers, also a small piece skin purported to be from the USS Akron; a nice array with some duplication and some additional related covers; inspect.

Pacific Clipper First Flights Collection, 1935-47, collection of 166 pre-war Clipper flights to all Pacific locations with all inter-location flights on separate covers with all color variations of cachets (with both U.S. and foreign issue frankings), includes all of the 1935 Survey Flights (Honolulu, Midway, Wake and Guam), the FAM-14 Flights (flight #'s 1-6, 10-16 plus 1937-38 NZ-US first flights & 1939 inaugural flight California clipper from Philippine Islands, 20-24, 28-40 & 45-49), and the FAM-19 Flights (flight #'s 1-9, 15-23 & 27-29); starting with the 1935 Survey Flights highlighted by the 1935 (August 17) Midway Island - Wake Island First Flight (signed by captain Sullivan, AAMC No. 1240), FAM-14 Flights with all fight legs represented as well as all cachet colors present, and the FAM-19 flights highlighted by 1940 Noumea, New Caledonia registered flight cover bearing the 5fr Paris-Noumea Airmail high value (believed to be a unique on cover usage of this stamp), Very Fine and choice.

Trans-Pacific Airmail Covers (FAM 19, 20 & 22), 1940-41, approximately 85 covers in pages in two binders; nice section of FAM 19 covers including U.S., New Zealand, and New Caledonia origin flights (couple with scarce 10f high value frankings, one bearing the Paris-Noumea flight issue), FAM 20 & 22 covers all legal size from a single correspondence with nine different country frankings throughout.

Private Vending Coil Issues on Cover, group of 11 items; includes Scott #343 Schermack type III with control perfin (90-56) (cat $500), four #344 Schermack type III with various control perfins (cat $2,000), #383 Schermack type III with control perfin (90-45), #409 Schermack type III on card to Australia, #575 Schermack type III usage (cat $450), #384V with plate # paste-up single on cover, #409 Farwell 4A4 on cover, also a #314 U.S. Automatic Vending type I on card but with certificate stating it did not originate.
