Better Accumulation, collector-built accumulation of better U.S. stamps, approximately 350 on Hagner pages, gathered by a compulsive buyer; starts with #1 (2), and #2 (one 5c is 4 margins with wide right sheet margin, #2 is close but 4 margins), also #3, unused (4 margins), then, a 1c 1851 Ty. 4 apparently OG, #12 (4 margins), 10c greens, 5 (one apparently OG), #17, the 1857's including #36 (4, 2 pairs), and 36b (2). The 1861's including 1c (4), 5c (5, one is buff #67, one is red brown #75), 12c (6), 24c (3), 30c (4), and 90c, #72 (4), grilled 1861's including 10c (5), 12c, 15c (2), 1869's including #112 (3, one apparently OG, #115, #116 (2), #117 (2), #119 (2), #120 (3, plus one #120P3), #121 (2), attractive Bank Note group has 24c (4), 30c (8), and 90c (5), small but nice Columbians including #240, #241 (2), #242, #243, #244, and #245, all used, plus $3 and $5 proofs, Trans-Mississippi include #291 (10), #292 (2), all used, and #293 unused, Pan-Americans, #294-299, is a stunning unused set of corner margin singles, each overloaded with various plate makers initials and other marginal markings, 1902 series starts with a complete unused set, #300-#313, except #312 is used, extras including unused #303, #305 (2), #306, #307, and used #311 (2) and #312, later unused issues including #518 (2), #523, #524 (2), #547 (2), and plate no. singles of #570, #571 (2), #572, and #573 (2), Airmails and B-O-B including #C1-6 unused, plus extra #C3. Unused Zeppelins including #C13 (2, one NH), #C14 (2), and #C15, 2 (one NH). Also #E15c pair, VLH unused, unused K2 (2), K3 (2), K4, K5 (2), K6, K8-10, K17-18, and K16 used. Also RW72 horiz. United States Collection, in two loaded Scott National albums. Strong from classics through Washington-Franklins to modern era plus nice Airmails and Back of the book. Better used including #1, 14-15, 28, 30A, 31-33, 36, 1861's to 90c (#72) plus neat group of 6 different shades of 1c blue (#63), 75-78, grilled 93-98, 1869's to 24c, good showing of Bank Notes, Columbians are 230-243 unused, except 240 and 242 are used, Trans-Miss. complete, most used, including 291-293 used, Pan-Americans complete. Both used and unused, 312 used. A good showing of Washington-Franklins including coil singles and pairs, 404 mint NH, 478 unused plate no. single, 499 5c error in block of 9, 519 unused with cert (reperfed and crease), 630, Kansas-Nebraska couple., then from 1932 to 1993 almost essentially couple.
