1952, 2¢ on 1¢ Surcharge Postal Card Study, hundreds of mostly mint cards; includes the paid reply cards with at least 75 unsevered #UY15 card with surcharge type variety (alone cats $8,625), UY14 with double, triple missing surcharges, black print error items, regular postal cards with overprint types and some variety; nice group for the specialist.

Va.

Christmas Seal Collection, mostly arranged and identified on stockpages in two large binders; nice showing of the various issues including some scarce to rare items, unlisted major varieties, proof material, covers, etc.; seals off cover including 1907 type I with shades, block and thin papers as well as counterfeits, 1908 issues with various types, unlisted vertical pair imperf between and imperforate pair, booklet panes, later issues with imperf between varieties, 1911 coil issues and essay, 1913 proof pairs, etc. later issues with specialized material, varieties, booklets, many proof & essay items, etc., nice selection of on cover/card usages starting from 1908 including unusual 1927 postal card usages from Italy, local seal usages, etc.; an excellent foundation for continuation.

Back-of-the-Book Stock, neatly arranged and identified on large stock cards; starting with Offices in Shanghai with a few regular U.S. issues with Offices cancels including #280b, 319 block of 4 and a F1, Office issues with */o with duplication and lower value used blocks, includes K15 x2 mint, K16 mint x2 and used x2, Officials with $2 State used (O68) and a O89 used block of 15, first issues Newspapers with some fakes and a possible used PR4, and Ducks from RW1 on with later plate blocks in modest duplication; worth evaluation.
