Hawaii, Postal Cards & Cover Usages, group of 44, with 25 postal cards, mostly to U.S. or used internally with 2 used during statehood period, but does including. usages to Shanghai (forwarded), Italy, Yokohama (2), Germany (4), England, Zurich, also one circa 1876 to Honolulu from U.S., internal usages to and from smaller Islands, #33 on cover, etc., F.-V.F. overall.

Hawaii, Related Balance, hundreds including stockbook of Pineapple Post multiples and sheetlets, classic group of 11 Numeral forgeries, etc., small mint group of Revenues, 1930's-70's group of a few hundred precancels, couple hundred mostly #43, 75, 81 with various cancels, F.-V.F.

Hawaii, Related Covers, hundreds mostly First Days but also commercial of 1930's to 1981, includes WWII censored including with Transport issues, better items include #C46 used with E16 and 825 on piece of package with FD cancel sending flowers to Chicago (rare usage), Midway Island, smaller town cancels, few circa 1910 early postcard usages, Naval ship cachets and with Official Naval Department and numerous 1960's oversized from Commanding Officers to to "Chief of Naval Personnel", China Clipper Honolulu to San Francisco, and incoming flights, FDC's with Hawaii related cachets, etc., worth inspection, generally F.-V.F.

Hawaii, Postal Stationery Balance, includes dozens of the more common cards and entires (couple 10¢ entires with offset on inside), but also includes six UY1 unfolded cards (these cards alone cat. $2,700); condition varies, worth a look.

Hawaii, Postal Stationery Mint Group, of 40 duplicated, with 14 envelopes and 26 cards with #UX1-9, UY1-4, UX2a, some envelopes sealed, also #U8 (UPSS 14), size 6, knife P-10 unsealed, UE1, German facsimile of UX9, etc., some with minor faults, F.-V.F. overall.

Philippines, Military Station Postmarks Collection, 1898-1902, of over 100 covers from the early 1898 Mil. Sta. No.1 postmarks to Sta. No. 11 postmarks in 1900-02; "Philippines Station/San Francisco" postmarks including on a unaddressed Philippines 2c card and Spanish Philippines franking on cover to French Consulate, other usages including patriotics (one with Cuban flag) and postage due soldier's letters, "Mil. Sta. No. 1, Philippine Isld./San Francisco" with 10 covers from 10/21/98 to 1/22/99 and includes postmarks in black and purple, with patriotics including soldiers letter due and usage to London, Hong Kong and Germany, scarce printed matter rate, etc., "Mil. P. Sta. No. 1/Manila, P.I." with five usages from 4/20/99 to 11/25/99, postmarks in black, violet and purple, includes patriotic and 2¢ entire used as "newspapers" wrapper, "Mil. Sta. No. 1 Philippine Islands/Manila" duplex with 13 covers 3/25/99 to 5/12/1900 and includes three patriotics, handstamps including "Soldiers Mail" and "Employees Letter", some nice early due usages, etc., Mil. Sta. "Registered" postmark with 3 covers including nice three color registered usages and one cds in red, three Manila Military Station handstamps usages with two to Hawaii, one with "US Govt Employees Mail" handstamp and other from St. Paul, Minn. forwarded to Manila, the barred duplex postmark with 18 covers with a couple patriotics, corner cards including "Y.M.C.A., Honolulu", Red Cross and "U.S.S. Princeton, Sailor's Letter" as well other soldier letter handstamps, also includes various other military station towns including Cavite, Iloilo, Cebu, Bacolod, Malolos, Bongao, Dagupan, Jolo, Vigan and Zamboanga, etc.; condition varies with many nice usages throughout, inspection highly recommended.

Lot 3112 /o   

Philippines, Stock, arrange and identified on stockpages; includes 830 unused nearly o.g. from #214//O37 mostly low value in heavy quantities, used with over 5,000 stamps perhaps the best are 1911 1p large multiple used and a wide range of handstamp O.B.'s again with large multiple up to the 1p; lots of material and ideal for the Philippines specialist.

Philippines, Cover Balance, of approximately 260 items; includes general issues of over 170 covers 1906-47 with at least 125 different issues #241//497, C18//C62 & O37//O44 with many registered, various rates, etc., also a selection of over 50 Japanese Occupation cover and cards includes 6 Japanese mail items to the P.I., also an interesting 1925-34 Elizabeth Harisbrough correspondence (with enclosure) from women apparently working in hospital in Manila (sure to be some interesting content in letters) and some latter covers with various ship sailing indicated; worth proper review.

Philippines, Legal and Oversized Covers and Fronts, group of approximately 70 items; includes many legal size official corner card usage used from a wide range of towns and offices/headquarters, FDC's, complete airmail sets, etc., early first issues including three color and mid-value frankings, few similar oversize front and a run of registered oversized covers to Switzerland, also some unused stationary entires including scarce legal size O.B. overprint entires; condition varies with much seldom seen frankings.
Estimate    $1,500 - 2,000.
