Iran, 1909, Coronation of Ahmad Shah, 1ch-26ch, also 5kr (Service), selection of 10 different Lion Essays, first seven with gold border, last three with silver border, including the 5kr showing one of the gates of Teheran (when it was a walled city), all stamps with center inverted, Lion values on vertically laid paper, o.g., lightly hinged to o.g., fresh throughout, Very Fine, rare, considered to be among the most beautiful stamps of Persia, these essays were prepared by Enschede printers in the Netherlands, but never released.
