(Nebraska) Fort Kearny, N.T., Jun 20, forwarding cds on 1864 cover franked with 1861, 3¢ rose pink (65b) canceled by target handstamp with matching "Linneus, Mo., May 13" origin cds at left, readdressed to Fort Bridger, Utah with manuscript "Advd June 1st" and "Ford 3cts Due" at top, additional red manuscript "ad July 1st" at Fort Bridger; stamp with margin flaws, F.-V.F., an interesting usage sent along the California trail during Indian Wars of 1864.

(Nevada) 1867-69 Austin, Nevada Mining Certificates, two different; includes "Keystone Silver Mining Company, at Austin, Nevada" Mining Certificate for 500 share stocks of the company signed "New York, Mar 2nd, 1867", with Revenue 25¢ Certificate (R44c) manuscript canceled, with lovely top central illustrated mining scene, and "Plymouth Silver Mining Company" (Austin, Nevada) Mining Certificate for 50 share stocks of the company signed "New York, April 24th, 1869", with Revenue 25¢ Insurance (R46c) manuscript canceled, with illustrated mining scene at top center; small usual flaws, Very Fine.
