Feb. 25, 1861 alongside, sold "on its on merits" as the label is not tied, Very Fine. Milgram Nos. JBL-11.

Mendel, Chicago imprint on cover to Orville, Ohio, franked with 1857 3¢ dull red, which appears to be just tied by grid cancels and maybe a reused stamps, with matching "Mishawauka, Ind. Sep. 7" cds, original pencil written enclosure datelined "Woodland, Ind. Sept. 4, '60" included which has large endorsement for Lincoln & Hamlin on reverse, partial backflap, Very Fine and attractive. Milgram Nos. AL-55.
