Negative 5-Point Star within Star of Glendale, Mass., neat complete strike in ultramarine canceling on 1861, 3¢ rose, on fresh cover to Ohio, with black "Glendale, Mass., May 28, 1866" double circle date stamp, Very Fine and choice, a lovely strike and cover; with 2015 P.F. certificate.

Negative "Lincoln" and Stars in Circle fancy cancel of Albany N.Y., complete neat strike duplexed with "Albany, N.Y., Oct 15" cds tying 1861, 3¢ rose, horizontal pair on 1864, 3¢ pink entire (U59) to Ripon, Wis., with two additional strike canceling other stamp and indicia; some light edge wear at bottom, a Very Fine and choice strike, a very difficult fancy to obtain this nice, ex-Milgram; with 1982 P.F. certificate. Negative Star of David of Hebron, Ct., bold complete strike in blue tying 1869, 3¢ ultramarine on cover to Portland, Ct., matching "Hebron, Conn., Feb 5" cds, an Extremely Fine and choice strike, a wonderful gem strike, this fancy is also known in black on cover and these are the only two examples we known of; with 2018 P.S.E. certificate. Scott Nos. 114.

Skull & Crossbones in Coffin of Pittsburgh, Pa., strong complete strike with partial cds alongside, canceling on 1¢ Liberty postal card (UX3) addressed to Scranton, Pa., datelined "Pittsburgh, Nov 25, 1873" on reverse, a Very Fine and choice strike, an extremely rare short-lived fancy cancellation, known used only from November 25-29 of 1873.
