American Letter Mail Co., 1844, black on gray, clear to large margins, manuscript canceled on fresh folded letter from New York to Philadelphia, Pa., with stamp tied by red "Forwarded by, American Mail Co., from No. 101 Chestnut St., Philada., Dec 6" receiving handstamp, Very Fine and choice, a very attractive usage, one of two examples we known of of this American Letter Mail Co. issue tied by a company handstamp; with 2021 P.S.E. certificate.

Blood & Co., 1845 (2¢) black, remarkably huge margins encompassing the complete outlines all around, tied by pen cancel smear on locally address cover from the Morfit correspondence, Very Fine and choice Striding Messenger cover, and a superb jumbo stamp which is rarely tied to cover; with 2013 P.F. certificate.

Boyd's City Express, 1844, 2¢ black on green, full margins all around, canceled by red "Free" straight line with handstamp impression effectively tying through on 1844 folded letter sheet to New York City, matching "Boyd's City Express Post, Jul 1" boxed handstamp, with manuscript "Pullen & Co's Express" sender's express endorsement at upper left, Extremely Fine, believed to be one of only three examples of a Independent mail usage in combination with Boyd's first issue adhesive, ex-Mason, Abt, Golden & Puliafito; with 2000 P.F. certificate.

Carnes' City Letter Express, 1864 (5¢) rose, printed and hand drawn essay, Carnes' first design impression at upper left on red on white glazed business card (88x53mm), with added rectangle frame around design and "5" values in each corner in pencil, and pen "San Francisco Express" over "City Letter Express" at bottom of design, all which are quite similar to Carnes' second stamp design; card with central diagonal crease and some glaze foxing (not mentioned on certificate), F.-V.F., a unique working essay and most certainly was the initial essay for Carnes' second issue (Scott 35L3-35L8), ex-Knapp & Kuphal; with 2007 P.F. certificate.

Perry & R. Lowe, with 2017 P.F. certificate.

Eagle City Post, 1850 (1¢) blue on bluish, full margins (rarely encountered as such), with neat manuscript cancel on fresh locally addressed Philadelphia cover, Extremely Fine, a gem local usage, a similarly addressed local usage is known from the same correspondence, although it is tied by a handstamp, ex-Gibson; signed R. Lowe, with 2017 P.F. certificate.
