Canal Zone, 1949, 3¢-18¢ Gold Rush Centennial complete, Original & Photographic Essays of Meade Bolton, set of ink sketch designs of the 3¢, 6¢, 12¢ & 18¢ designs on medium bond sheets, each with simulated perfs and similar to the final designs and signed "Meade Bolton 12/8/48" below (Brett #142E-D, 143E-E, 144E-D & 145E-D), each with tipped in photograph essays of the other Bolton hand drawn essays and one of the original on sheet (5 photos 3¢-12¢ and 4 photos of 18¢) as well a a block of four of the original stamp at bottom (See website for images), Very Fine.

Guam, Special Delivery, 1899, 10¢ blue, Special Printing, o.g., lightly hinged, excellent color, Extremely Fine, realized hammer $950 in Rumsey 2016 auction, ex-Markovits.

In March 1900 one pane of each denomination was prepared for the Paris and Pan-American Expositions. H.G. Mandel stamped most of these with "Specimen" on stamps that were mounted by him for the displays at the expositions, the remainders lack the handstamp.
