Mexico, 1868, 25c-100c Full Face Hidalgo Group, 11 stamps with very large margins, 4 are 100c (thin and thick figures) and 4 are 50c (thin and thick figures), there is a 100c thin perforated unused (NF $650) 7-68 from Monterrey, has a thin but is very rare, F.-V.F. overall (NF $900+).

Mexico, 1868, Hidalgo (thin figures, imperf), 6c black on buff, with trial overprint cons 01-68, complete sheet of 50, pen canceled, slight crease and some wrinkling, otherwise Very Fine, this unique item was probably printed in the "pre-printing period".

Mexico, 1868, Hidalgo (thin figures, imperf), 25c blue on pink, Tampico, strip of three and single, cons 39-68 tied by Tampico circular handstamps (Schatzkes 1581) on 1869 folded letter sheet to San Luis Potosi, Very Fine, Follansbee census of largest multiples only records strips of three.

Mexico, 1868, Hidalgo (thick figures, perforated), 50c blue on light pink, color error (Puebla), cons 14-68, without name of district, o.g., full margins, Very Fine, very rare, especially so in mint condition; signed J.K. Bash, with 2005 M.E.P.S.I. certificate.
Scott No. 69b    Estimate $2,000 - 3,000.

This error was caused early in the issue when a thick figure 50c cliche was misplaced on the 25c plate (Stone C) at two positions, one of which was corrected by redrawing the denomination and the other creating this error. The error was quickly caught with a few examples getting out in the first shipments of the issue. It is known from Puebla, Oaxaca, Orizava, Queretaro and Veracruz districts.
