1927, 1¢ Franklin, rotary press printing, vertical pair, imperf between, o.g., lightly hinged, rounded corner, centered right as all copies are, Fine; with 2023 P.S.E. certificate and "SS&CCO" (Scott Stamp and Coin Co.) handstamp guarantee.

According to Gary Griffith, this error was discovered in 1939 in Bergen N.Y. The find was reported as thirteen blocks of four and three pairs, but some were subsequently determined to have blind perfs and were disqualified.
